Renata Chubb

RP(Q), EXAT

Renata is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Expressive Arts Therapist. Drawing on both psychotherapy and expressive arts practices, Renata supports clients in exploring their inner experiences through visual arts, writing, movement, voice, visualization, play and many other forms of creative expression.

Renata's work with clients is strengths-based, neuroaffirming, and client-centred. Her approach is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness-based practices, and expressive arts therapy. She collaborates closely with each client to find approaches that best support their unique needs, strengths, and goals.

Renata has a particular passion for working with children and youth, who are navigating self-worth challenges, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. Through this creative work, she helps clients develop greater self-compassion, emotional awareness and regulation, and a deeper connection to their own needs, values, and inner voice.

Clients often describe Renata as warm, compassionate, creative, and grounding. She strives to create a welcoming environment where individuals feel safe to show up as they are, explore what matters most, and move toward a more connected and fulfilling daily life.
