January: In Bloom 2026

Happy New Year! January is often a time to reset, consider what is working for your family and what needs adjusting. Keep it simple! We aren't trying to re-vamp the way we do everything, maybe this looks like finding one way you can slow down, and one new way to connect with your children in your weekly routine. Maybe this looks like setting fifteen minutes aside to read a book or move your body this weekend. As we jump back in to work, and school and extra circulars, remember that transitions like this can be tough! Maintaining some kind of consistent routines or rituals can be comforting this time of year.

This month’s In Bloom newsletter has a special announcement about a new free program being offered for youth, and offers some insight into child-centred play therapy and what families can expect when working with this modality.

December: In Bloom 2025

Winter Weather

As we step into December, we often find ourselves reflecting and looking ahead to the coming year. For many families, this time of year brings excitement, togetherness, and tradition, and it can also bring busyness, big feelings, loss of routine, and the pressure of expectations. We know that both the excitement and challenges can co-exist, but the responsibility to care for yourself and others doesn’t pause for the holidays, and neither does the need for connection, regulation, and support.

This month’s In Bloom newsletter is our way of offering an inside look at the services being offered, and some insights about creative self-care over the holidays. Creative and supportive group programs for parents, children and infants are created to meet your unique needs and as a reminder that you and your child are not alone.

If you feel like fall is flying by, you are not alone. Our therapists are here to support your family through the transition to winter. Connect with them to get some consistent sessions on the calendar, and check out the groups and workshops that can help you and your children thrive. You don't have to do it on your own.

This month, we explore group therapy and workshops for children, youth, and parents, we welcome new team members and celebrate our therapists doing great work in the community, and we share some exclusive insights from Melissa Fellin MSW RSW PhD CPT 's Parent with Confidence Workshop for parents of fiery, highly-sensitive and neurodivergent kids.
