Kwesi Indome
BSW, MSW, RSW
Kwesi is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. He has training treating disruptive behaviour problems in a Play Therapy Setting. He also incorporates various theoretical approaches in his practice, which are person-centred and solution-focused.
Kwesi has over 10 years’ experience working with children, youth and their caregivers from all walks of life who have experienced abuse, neglect, or trauma. He is well-versed in addressing complex family dynamics and dysfunction and in supporting families to improve their communication and promote healthy family relationships between caregivers and children.
Kwesi believes therapy should be a collaborative journey where all parties work together to understand and resolve challenges.
Kwesi is particularly interested in working with youth aged 5 and up and their caregivers struggling with emotional regulation, social skills, confidence, stress, behaviour management, attachment issues and strengthening relationships between child and parent to promote healing and well-being in the home environment.
As a caregiver of three active young children, Kwesi understands firsthand the challenges and rewards of parenting. He enjoys music and staying active through sports to maintain balance in his life.
