Julianna has experience supporting children and youth across a variety of settings, using creativity and the arts to help individuals navigate emotional, social and behavioural challenges. Julianna works closely with clients to create personalised goals and therapeutic plans that reflect each person’s strengths, lived experiences and needs. She strives to create a supportive therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, curiosity and authenticity allowing clients to feel safe exploring difficult emotions, experiences and transitions at their own pace.
Julianna incorporates art and the creative process into therapy as a way to support story-telling, meaning-making, emotional exploration and identity development. She also integrates grounding techniques and creative sensory practices to support nervous system regulation and emotional awareness. Julianna’s approach is rooted in strength-based, client centered care. She supports children and youth in building on their existing abilities and internal resources to navigate challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
Her primary areas of focus include identity development, emotional expression, self esteem, grief, emotional regulation and supporting children and youth through personal challenges and experiences of growth and change.
