Central to Cheryl’s practice is empowering clients to embrace their individuality, explore emotions with purpose, and set meaningful goals. She guides clients in cultivating self-awareness and actively participating in their healing and personal growth journey.
Recognizing the sensitivity of therapy and the apprehensions it may evoke, Cheryl fosters a safe, nonjudgmental space where children and youth feel accepted and heard. This environment encourages open dialogue and empowers clients to voice their concerns and questions freely, facilitating a normalized therapeutic process that moves beyond mere problem-solving to holistic growth.
Cheryl’s approach is grounded in practicality and realism, acknowledging the multidimensional nature of individuals beyond any singular label or current circumstance. Her goal is to support clients in developing a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences, ultimately promoting resilience and well-being.
