Candice Fedy

Candice is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo, as well as Ontario Graduate Certificates in Communicative Disorders and Learning Disabilities. With a diverse background in mental health, communication disorders, and behavioural intervention, Candice brings a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to supporting youth, adolescents, and their families.
Candice has extensive experience working with individuals facing emotional regulation challenges, anxiety, ADHD, ASD, learning differences, and life transitions. She has a special interest in supporting neurodivergent youth, individuals struggling with self-acceptance and self-advocacy, and those navigating academic or social pressures. Her work emphasizes helping young people and their families develop emotional resilience, communication skills, and strategies to manage stress and change.
With an integrative and strengths-based approach, Candice incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and psychoeducation to create personalized treatment plans. She believes in fostering a therapeutic space that is collaborative, affirming, and client-centred, allowing individuals to explore their experiences with confidence and self-compassion.
Candice is passionate about helping individuals build a sense of agency and connection in their lives. She believes that therapy should be a safe and supportive space where individuals feel heard, valued, and empowered to make meaningful change.
